About the PROTID Consortium

PROTID is a network of scientists and clinicians from institutes in the Netherlands, Uganda, Tanzania, United Kingdom and New Zealand. The consortium partners share an ambition to prevent TB among people with diabetes.

The project is coordinated by Radboudumc from Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Partner NIMR MMRC in Mbeya, Tanzania is sponsor of the trial.

Scientific Advisory Board

  PROTID’s Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) consists of five independent scientists who together act as an advisory capacity to review results and research plans, to provide the Executive Group with recommendations on the continuation and to safeguard the interest of the project.
